Privacy Policy

The short version: NomRide does not collect, transmit, or store any of your data outside your Karoo device. There is no cloud, no account, no analytics, no telemetry. Your nutrition data stays on your device.
Data Processing
NomRide processes the following data locally on your Karoo device in real time:
- Power data from connected sensors for carb burn calculation
- Food and water intake logs that you manually enter
- Your settings: FTP, weight, food templates, and reminder preferences
All processing happens entirely on-device. No data is sent to any server, API, or third-party service.
Data Storage
NomRide stores the following data locally on your Karoo:
- Settings — athlete profile, food templates, reminder intervals, and preferences
- Ride state — current nutrition state saved periodically during a ride for crash recovery
- FIT data — carb balance, burn rate, and intake fields written to Karoo's standard FIT files
This data is stored in the app's private storage and is deleted when you uninstall NomRide.
Network Access
NomRide does not make any network requests. The app has no internet permission and cannot communicate with external servers.
Third-Party Services
NomRide does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking services.

NomRide is fully open source under the MIT license. You can inspect the complete source code at github.com/yrkan/nomride to verify these claims.
Website
This website is a static site hosted on Cloudflare. It does not use cookies, analytics, or tracking scripts. Cloudflare may collect standard access logs (IP address, user agent) as part of their infrastructure — see Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
